Our Mission

Our mission is simple: no cat left behind. We take in strays, abandoned pets and cats whose owners can no longer care for them. Working with a network of dedicated foster carers across Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, we give every cat the time, care and patience they need before matching them with their perfect forever home.

Why fostering matters

Fostering saves lives. Every foster home frees up space for another cat in need, and gives a rescued cat something a shelter never can: a sofa, a window sill, and a person of their own. We cover food, litter and all veterinary costs — you provide the love. Whether for two weeks or two months, fostering is the single most valuable thing you can do for a rescue cat.

She is very nervous but loves a cuddle, she will become such a lovely cat if she finds someone who is patient and can give her one on one time, she is rapidly getting better everyday.

Medical: She has the flu, bacterial conjunctivitis and upper respiratory problems, is currently being treated

Special requirements: She is not ready yet as we would like her to get a bit better before adoption, she will hopefully be ready in next few weeks, needs a calm, patient home and people she can properly bond with.

She is a very scared girl, she needs someone who is going to be very patient and respect her boundaries, she went through alot outside and needs someone she can trust.

Special requirements: If homed with another cat needs to be quarantined away for first 2 weeks and other cat needs to be fully vaccinated.

One cat can lead to 20,000

One unneutered female and her offspring can produce up to 20,000 descendants in just five years — far more kittens than there are homes waiting for them.

Kittens can have kittens

Cats can get pregnant from just four months old, while they're still kittens themselves. Early neutering protects them from the strain of pregnancy far too young.

Neutering keeps toms safer

Unneutered males roam for miles, fight over territory and are far more likely to catch FIV or be injured on the roads.

It's kinder, not cruel

Neutered cats are calmer, less likely to spray or stray, and on average live longer, healthier lives.

It protects against illness

Spaying dramatically reduces the risk of womb infections and mammary tumours, and neutering prevents testicular cancer.

Rescues are full

Every unplanned litter takes a foster space from a cat already waiting. Neutering is the single best way to help rescues like ours.
